'El Remolón' is a project where Andres Schteingart (a.k.a Drole), its creator, dives into the eccentricity of local electronic music to mix it with Latin American sounds by using all the resources that electronic music can offer. His songs are influenced by various genres ranging from Colombian Cumbia, Cumbia Villera (Cumbia from the slums of Buenos Aires), and reggaeton to dub, idm, and minimal. The resulting sounds create a cadence that is, at times, hypnotic and crazy, inviting you to enjoy it by dancing rather intensely. When listening to these songs, you will recognize parts of local music hits that get even the most discerning dancers moving. El Remolon has performed live on several occasions, including Niceto Club's MASIVAA parties, 'Como En Casa' at Cocoliche, and the NuBeatz cycle at Midland Lounge. He is currently working on over a dozen tracks that will soon be released. Yeah, baby!
