Princesa is Valeria Goberna’s solo project. Valeria Goberna is one of the female faces of the local Dancehall and Reggaeton scene. Known because of her contribution to Nueva Alianza with Alika, who she has shared local and international stages with and who has taken part in her two latest records.
Her new album, "Algo para decir" (Something to say), explores Dancehall, Hip Hop and Reggaeton while sending out conscious messages and revealing a very personal side that opens a window into her Afro-Uruguayan roots (she’s also an African music teacher).
The production for the tracks and the musical arrangements were entrusted to outstanding local producers (Gustavo Pilatti from Nonpalidece, Alika, Cróniko, Alberto Horst and Dany Bullorsky), the result being an album with modern sounds that will surprise you and make you want to dance.
Her live show, featuring a back-up MC and a DJ, always exudes lots of energy and gets everyone in the crowd shake shake shaking it.
