Zizek Blows Out 1 Year Candle

Zizek turns 1 year this month. Today is really its birthday, but we´re celebrating all month long. We started the first week in October in a random club in San Telmo.
The story in a nutshell goes like this. Nim comes to G-Love and says lets throw a party. G-Love and Nim had worked together a couple times that year including at a party thrown for South American Exploradores called Juke Joint. Justamente at that party G-Love had also booked Villa Diamante. Nim & G-Love ponder Wednesday nights with Villa Diamante as a resident. Villa Diamante, Nim and G-Love get together and there’s mutual interest in starting something new. Diamante throws out the name Zizek. It sticks. 5-10 quick days of organization follows, including photos, phonecalls, a website and a flyer. Zizek is born. The rest is history.
This month we celebrate its anniversary - calling back a ton of Zizek artists, receiving some new ones and flying one in from a festival in Rio. Diplodicus, who hung with Zizek gangsters back in January.
