REVOLT Strike 05 - 19 SEPT 2007.
Continuing its monthly succes in Cocoliche, REVOLT , the night dedicated to the new urban rythms rising in the music scene, attacks again with a lineup of 5 artists.
The night will begin with Refusenik, from Moscow via Boston/USA with his apropriate blend of Grime and Street Bass, not forgetting a passage through Boston Bounce, sound from the city he grew up in. After him, the nouvelle brazilian team Maloca Dub will fill the Cocoliche basement with a fresh mix of the newest and finest liquid funk drum and bass. Right after that Uter, straight out of Mendoza and performing in Buenos Aires after many months, will deploy his usual quota of the finest, deepest drum and bass, without forgetting the uplifting side that makes the dancefloor explode. The night will be closing with AKR, creator of REVOLT alongside Snooze, with his neurofunk drum and bass.
The screens will be commanded by Center0, talented VJ arriving from Mendoza to represent the Nemesys y Jaguaritech crews.

REVOLT is a new night created by Snooze (a.k.a. Zleep) y AKR with the purpose of "revolutionizing" the scene by means of showcasing the most "uncommon" genres of electronic music more related to urban culture, among which we can find drum and bass, breakcore, nü-wave hip-hop, geekbeat, IDM and all its freshest and rare variants like neurofunk, grindcore, dubstep, 8-bit punk etc.

Inspired by the revolutionaries of all time and disciplines, and inciting to "do your own revolution" through a series of "user-customizable" flyers (with a limited edition run of flyers created by well-known local urban artists), REVOLT offers an alternative space to the common rule, once a month, every month.
