The Gordoloco trio is 21st century jazz sound. It is experimental jazz, jam jazz, ambient jazz, funk jazz. It is 20-minute-long-session jazz where each of the three musicians seems to be in his own trance, own world, certainly own tempo, and yet it somehow comes all together at the end to the awe of onlookers.
A brief history of the band.
Gordöloco Trio is made up of Mauro Mourelos (trumpet), Hernan Hayet (bass) and Rodrigo Gómez (drums).
The band formed in the city of Buenos Aires is 2001, the same year they recorded their first independent live record. In the year 2002 they recorded their first studio album “Antenas” under the BAU records label.
In 2003 their second album “Tecnofogon” on an independent label. Tecnofogon was conceived as a limited edition cd/object, which was intervened by 25 visual artists who designed the cd book differently for each CD.
Their third album “Copany” was edited in August 2005. It was independently produced and will distributed by Ultrapop records.
