Friday the Centro Cultural Rojas will be inaugurating a full weekend (July 22nd – 24th) homage to Gaby Kerpel, the musical genius behind King Coya and Terraplén and magician that helped create Fuerza Bruta. Kerpel´s work doesn´t stop there, his track record is 20 years of musical and theatric experimentation. The weekend starts off Friday night at 9pm with a free party headlined by King Coya, Chancha Via Circuito and other surprise guests. The weekend continues with workshops, film projections and nightly concerts. We´ve got a pair of tickets for the Saturday and Sunday concerts. Saturday is Barbarita Palacios followed by Terraplén, Sunday evening a DJ set by Gaby Kerpel and a show by La Yegros who will be releasing her first solo album later this spring.
