Dazzling Darling. Just two words that could only optimize the fluroscently colorful fashion show that Tranqui Yanqui brought to the stage of Buenos Aires on Saturday night. Tranquilo would definitely not be the word to describe the outrageous and flamboyant creative force Tranqui Yanqui, with his wacky yet innovative cutout designs.
The location was some random club in Abasto and the WUBA team were out in style to feast their eyes on the show. The crowd was rawkus and there was no doubt that every limb that Tranqui´s´colorful show exposed was bursting with energy and excitement.

Clearly inspired by high 80´s and early 90´s bold new rave prints with a tacky Porteño twist. Tranqui Yanqui incorporated superpancho pants, palm tree wings, dollar dollar bills and jelly fish bikinis, to offer his audience something completely new and engaging! Merging the gap between performance and fashion, the crowd went wild for the aesthetic prints that bounced off a bustling energy that continued throughout the night. His models, each interpreting TY style with their own pizzazz and robotic grooves, only breathed more life into the already outrageous creations.
El G commandeered the fashion show with ZZK beats the whole way through, till Tranqui Yanqui made his bling bling appearance to the sounds of Dr. Dre's 90's era chronic rap. What, lets be honest, it was never going to be a quiet night, continued in the same exaggerated fashion as the show. Later ZZK DJs were spinning the tracks and the fluorescent crowd stayed hype until the early hours.

A night of complete multiplicity and success. Tranqui Yanqui, fusing art, performance and fashion innovation got his name boldly out there and we have no doubt you will all be seeing him soon, in a variety of fluorescent forward-thinking fashion food forms. Yet another great example of a single idea turned into something bigger than could ever be imagined, something we know a thing or two about.
