| I draw plants, women and animals because I grew up surrounded by botanical books with gorgeous illustrations that I adored looking through, and because the feminine universe captivates me, I find that the things that attract me are a mixture of gentle and bestial. I draw plants both real and imagined, animals and women together, either side by side or mixed as one being, animals dancing, playing, watching us. For me it is the perfect combination, they are essential to the universe I have created. The result is mysterious images that I simply like. It’s like a game. | |
