Recently the musician Leonardo Martinelli, creator of the band Tremor, crossed the span of the country (Buenos Aires to Santiago del Estero, Argentina) in a bus in search of a new sound and a special instrument, the sachaguitarra.

Articultores is sowing seeds in Buenos Aires - literally. This group is bringing urban agriculture to the most culturally diverse areas of the city, getting communities to work together to develop public vegetable gardens in unused corners of the city. Free Culture, Sustainable Development and Free Communal Space for all is the manifesto; agriculture as a collaborative cultural and artistic process is the vision.

When you sit down to watch the “Hold the Line” video, you’ll quickly realize that you’re watching a comedy of sorts; a simulacrum of aesthetics from the ever- popular cumbia shows broadcast all over the Latin American continent.

We here at WUBA are always on the look out for things that inspire us.  Whether it be music, art, performance, sights, people, places, whatever reaches us on a different level and makes us feel.  There’s no guessing when that might come along but when it does it’s instantly tangible.
